One of the photos from Apple’s iPhone 7 smartphone series, taken by Apple photographer Dean Stewart, will go on sale tomorrow, as Apple’s second iPhone series launches on the US market next month.
Apple has not released a definitive list of the models that will be available in its iPhone 7 range.
However, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are expected to be available next year, with the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5 being announced in 2018.
Apple has said it will unveil more iPhones in 2019, including new models for women, which will be announced on Wednesday.
“It’s not just a matter of one or two photos, it’s about making it really simple for people to get started,” Apple’s chief creative officer Phil Schiller said on stage at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Schiller told a crowd of executives that Apple’s new smartphone line will be designed to offer users “more choices than ever before” and to offer “great value”.
Apple’s new iPhones will feature “new features like a larger screen, a redesigned home button and a much more modern design”, according to the company’s release.
The company has said its next-generation iPhones will have the same specs as the iPhone 4S and 5S, and will come in four different colours, including gold, rose gold, silver and black.
Schilling said Apple would also introduce a new “digital watch”, which will use its iWatch software to monitor the time and perform various functions such as making appointments.
The iWatch will be sold with an extra battery, and Schiller suggested that the watch would not be limited to a single model.
“We are making this very clear, if you want to be a smart person, you have to have a watch,” he said.
Schiller said Apple’s next-gen iPhones will be “the most powerful and beautiful phones ever made”.”

The iPhone 7 will have a 6.2-inch 1080p screen, 4G LTE and a 3,300mAh battery.
It will come with a 16GB storage option and come with the latest iOS 10 software.
Apple said the new iPhone will be priced at $999 (£1,249) for the 16GB option, $1,299 (£1.49) for a 128GB option and $1.99 (£1) for an LTE option.
Apple is also expected to unveil a new version of the iPhone X, which it will launch on August 10.
This new iPhone is expected to feature a 10.5-inch screen and be thinner than the iPhone 8, with a smaller battery.
Apple’s iPhone X will cost $1,-999 (£849) and be available for pre-order in August.
The device will be powered by a new 5.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 820 processor and have a 16MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.
