A bunch of high-end smartphones may come with some new camera tech that you can hardly afford.
The new iPhones 6s or 6s+ are rumored to have cameras that cost $1,000 or less, and it looks like they’re also a lot more expensive than other smartphone cameras.
The camera specs were reportedly leaked from a Chinese forum, and according to the report, they’re based on the Kirin 950 chipset, the same chip used in Apple’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
The phone’s camera specs include an f/1.8 lens with phase-detection autofocus, a 3.2MP rear camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3,200mAh battery.
If you’re looking to buy an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, there’s one key caveat: The new phones are reportedly only available for preorder at AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint stores.
We’ll update this story as soon as we learn more.
